The Gym UK is a local Gym based in Chippenham in the south west of England. Recently, due to a change of ownership the Gym has gone through a complete refurbishment of its facilities to freshen up and modernise its overall personal and appeal.

Ian and Steve from The Gym UK approached us to help extend its new, fresh, modern and overall fun image to its website that had become dated in design and was not fulfilling its full potential.

As with every project we were happy to help and approached the gym UK with lots of exciting ideas to take advantage of the new technologies available in the web industry today. The first thing to do was freshen up the image of the old website with a brand new design, incorporating a new fresh and zesty colour scheme that portrayed the aspirational message they wanted to portray.

Once the colour scheme, wireframes and user experience was completed and signed off by Ian and Steve the work on the look and feel could begin. The look and feel aspect of the design involved sourcing the correct imagery and approach to the website to deliver an aspirational mood through the website and make potential members want to sign up. This was achieved through the inclusion of water imagery, happy looking members and correct weighting of fonts and call to actions.
