Script writing is an art that takes years of practice. Some script writers work to set patterns and ethics upon which they base most of their work. Often internationally referred to as the 'Hollywood steps' - a list of prerequisites that most major production companies look for in a financially viable screenplay
Here at aerian, we both embrace and shun this methodology. Formatted script production will only suit a certain type of film. Whereas films like Star Wars, Jurassic Park and Lord of the Rings certainly benefit from a tight, rigid structure, other trend setting films such as Memento, Psycho and Clockwork Orange made their names by being different. Our extensive abilities in creating and improving formats into usable scripts can either help bring flesh to the existing bones of your story, or entirely turn the production of your idea on it's head. We will discuss with you at great length and after extensive market research which methodology will suit your idea best
We can either work directly from a genre supplied from a production company or broadcaster, or as a scriptwriting team, able to create or modify an existing format. We also develop all of our own in house writing, from feature films and dramaTV serials to books and radio features
