HBH Woolacotts is a well established electrical goods company based in the south west of England. Aerian was delighted when HBH Woolacotts approached us to re-design their website and increase its overall web presence.

As with every project, the first phase was to create very simple page layout designs known as wireframes. This helps to evaluate the user journey and ensure all aspects of the website are positioned correctly and given the appropriate weighting. Once the wire framing was complete we could begin work on creating the look and feel of the site and skinning all the necessary pages.

The look and feel brief given to aerian was to maintain the corporate branding of the company but bring it more up to date. We wanted to ensure that when users visited the website, they were instantly familiar with the brand, seeing it as an extension of the retail outlets rather than an entity of its own. To achieve this, the already established logo was largely incorporated to the header of the website and the corporate colours subtly included in aspects of the page such as headers and images. This was all complemented with a stylish grey gradient theme and
