Container Group Buying are a trading company specialising in supplying Gifts, Home Decor and Novelty items to independent and multiple retailers across the UK and Europe.

We were commissioned for a site redesign and the incorporation of ecommerce features to allow online purchasing of their wholesale stock. Typical e-commerce features have been built upon to incorporate the necessary quantity and price restrictions of the wholesale retail field, with purchases and product details restricted to registered members only. The site features a secure members area to view detailed statements of account purchase history alongside a complete index  of their previous orders with the ability to  quick order multiple previously purchased products. Potential customers can be directed to ‘taster’ pages featuring specific product lists specified by the client, to preview the content before deciding to register.

The site is completely  integrated with the Blainewood Andrews Computing software used to manage the core business product catalogue and sales system, resulting in minimal additional staff resources to manage the addition of a web based display and ordering interface. A custom Content Management System was also implemented to allow the client access to content manipulation for site promotional areas and page resources.
