Live n Deadly is the sister show to the fantastic Deadly 60. Live n Deadly follows presenters Steve Backshall and Naomi travel the length and breadth of the UK; bringing deadly animals to children and adults alike.

As part of the same project as Sam and Mark's TMi Friday, we were approached to help create the project. This involved vast swathes of time working on a non dynamic content management system involving XML, XSLT and XSSI, as well highly complex Javascript DOM modelling to enable the functionality that didn't exist within the BBC comments systems previously.

The site benefits from 'live' comments (live moderation), galleries, uploaders, games, countdowns to live and a selection of fun and interactive content to really build up to the live show time. Do check out Deadly Dash - it's great fun!!

With a tough UX&D design brief, and even tougher deadlines, we worked exceptionally hard with the fantastic CBBC team to create a site which we are all exceedingly proud of. It looks great, and we love it. We hope you do too!
