Testimonials

Dean Latchana - Technical Project Manager
Date: 26/08/2008

For Crimewatch, Aerian were able to recognise and help prioritise solutions to pre-existing issues with the content management system. Without distraction, they were able to work clearly and calmly in a highly pressurised and fluid environment that is common to projects with a TV transmission an online tie-in. Aerian demonstrated a quickness to learn new systems and an ability to adhere to an organisation's process, team structure and guidelines. Even after their involvement came to a natural end, they continued their friendly and approachable attitude and were willing to continue to problem-solve and contribute ideas.

Quick, efficient and a great at problem-solving. No request was ever too much, however late in the day. Paul stayed until everything was water-tight; which is vital for a TX-dependent site (when a site needs to be live and updated before a television show).

Crimewatch

Client: BBC
Launch date: 05/01/2008

Crimewatch is a long running popular community TV programme on BBC One. For years, Crimewatch has developed a massive following of like minded people who want to stamp out crime and solve previously unsolveable mysteries. With the website offering more information and more services, the arrest rate as a result of Crimewatch has risen massively. Well done everyone!

We were tasked with producing the new version of the site, with a much larger archive of crimes, criminals and resources then ever before. The new site had a complete revamp of it's design, featured video footage that the people at home could use to remind themselves or to send to a friend and a multi direction archive search facility, allowing users to search by the victim name, suspect name, location, crime, reconstruction type and date.

Since the site has launched, the amount of criminals brought to justice has risen dramatically, and the site has grown massively in popularity. This is due to the extremely hard work of the Crimewatch team, and we're proud to be a part of this very worthwhile project.
