Live n Deadly is the sister show to the fantastic Deadly 60. Live n Deadly follows presenters Steve Backshall and Naomi travelling the length and breadth of the UK; bringing deadly animals to children and adults alike.

The CBBC team that commissioned us to design and create the website to support the TV show approached us to design and create an interactive RSS feed widget to be presented on the blog pages. The RSS widget reads the first 5 articles created by the editorial team and presents them in an illustrated live n deadly branded widget, automatically stepping through each article if the user does not click on one when on the page.

The design / look and feel of the widget was created to specific dimensions supplied by the editorial team and incorporate many of the elements that we used to create the live n deadly website. This included scratch effects, rust and using the colour scheme and fonts stated in the shows branding guide.

Massive thanks to the CBBC team for coming back to us to design and create the RSS widget. It really does make us proud to think that customers are so happy with our original work that they return and this is another example of this scenario.
