Two implementations: BBC History BBC Science

BBC Things To Do is an activity finder enabling users to discover local activities offered by the BBC and its partners. The site contains thousands of activities and events listings – a number which is expected to grow as more partners come on board.

This part of the project involved integrating the portable widget (already integrated with BBC News and the BBC Torch Relay web application) to the BBC History and Science homepages.

Technically this stage of the Things To Do widget development was different because the Activities displayed on the Widget are scoped by either Science or History. We had to work closely with internal BBC Knowledge and Learning developers to ensure the widget was integrated and styled correctly.
