BBC Films is one of the most respected feature film brands, entertaining millions of film lovers and giving British talent the exposure they deserve on a worldwide stage.
Our first remit was to help a film focused team to create an online strategy mapped against quantifiable user analytics, best serving their existing user base and extending this into new and ripe markets.
Through rebranding and improved user experience we helped deliver a standard of design and consistent experience that greatly improved user retention and the discoverability of content. All designs and UX (User Experience) was informed and mapped against user stories born from volumetric and search traffic data to ensure the new site strategy, design and build would have the greatest possibility of success.
The development of the project included content management solutions, archival services, content promotion, social media integration and a front end categorisation system.
